We established MJO to enjoy continuously swing jazz after
graduation from university, in June of 1974. All associates are completely business men
who had experience of university band.
The MJO belong to the Tokyo City Amateur Big Band Association
and the All Japan Amateur Band Association.
We prefer to mainly play the 4 beats tune especially like the
score of the Count Basie Big Band and regularly hold the concert 3 or 4 times per year.
In addition, we have been visiting a welfare facility 8 years
to perform at charity Christmas concert as a volunteer activity.
The MJO is all operating by associate's membership fee, no
sponsor company.
